Steven is a retired Air Force Colonel. He served the nation for 22 years as a judge advocate and provided financial planning, retirement, tax, and legal advice to military members worldwide. He retired as an appellate judge on the Air Force Court of Military Appeals.
Colonel Pecinovsky continued his service to the nation with the US Department of Homeland Security for four years as the Senior Litigation Counsel and Senior Policy Advisor to the Secretary of DHS. He later served as Director in the DHS Office of the Chief Financial Officer. While there, he provided financial and legal advice to senior leadership in the DHS.
Colonel Pecinovsky recently retired from DHS as the Chief of Staff for the Tampa office of US Citizenship and Immigration Services after 12 years of providing financial planning and retirement strategies to those in his agency.
Colonel Pecinovsky graduated from the University of Notre Dame with honors, where he earned a BA in Economics. He later graduated from The Ohio State University College of Law with a Juris Doctorate.
